Lots of people are trying to stay alive, but not many are truly living.

Our concern here is not that people are wanting to do bad things. We desire very much to do the right thing for God. The issue is about whose wisdom is going to lead us to smooth sailing. We know the right answer, it’s God’s wisdom. The question is do we know God’s wisdom?

Chesterton, but its origin is uncertain. Regardless of who said it, the saying certainly rings true today. I am constantly bewildered by what people are willing to believe.
The Voices are Calling
The very definition of a fool is one who is out of touch with reality. It’s the mouse watching me set the trap then running right into it. What wasn’t clear there? God has created the world with a certain order. Not only physically but with social and moral and spiritual order. These orders are as binding as the physical order. This is reality. Period.

It Starts with Me
This is the world we live in today. You never really know what’s going to set people off. The landmines are everywhere. One wrong word, an unpopular opinion, support the wrong politician, and boom! People experience unsafe environments at home, at school, at the workplace or next door. Sadly, even the church can feel unsafe these days.
